HE John Adonteng Boateng lauded for his humanitarian services
Founder and leader of the Divine Word International Ministries, Virginia-America, His Excellency Dr. John Adonteng Boateng continues his vision of providing scholarship schemes to students of Hylton school in the state of Virginia in his bid to promoting good and quality education.
The latest gesture known as the 'Unknown Star's Award' is aimed at providing financial assistance to students of the Hylton School in Virginia and this forms part of his humanitarian services rendered to many including people in the diaspora.
He is known internationally as one of the few individuals who has instituted an award scheme to honour some Police officers in USA.
Apart from supporting the education of some underprivileged children both abroad and in Ghana, he has also extended a hand to many in the area of health and provision of shelter.
The philanthropic Minister of the gospel recently has in the past also supported scores of parents who couldn't pay the bills of their children who had been discharged from hospital after surgery.
During the Kintampo accident few years ago, the renowned Bishop again provided some huge financial and spiritual support to the victims of the disaster and a magnificent statue has been erected in the school to honour his good humanitarian works.
To Institutionalise his philanthropic work, His Excellency Dr. John Adonteng Boateng has also inaugurated an orphanage home in Ghana as well.
Devine Privileged Home, like many of his philanthropic work, "is aimed at touching and impacting the lives of young children, to put a smile on their faces and to give children from under privileged homes opportunity to live and also acquire the best of education like any other child in society". His Excellency Dr. John Adonteng Boateng explained.
As a result of his numerous gesture and benevolence both abroad and in Ghana,the Mayor of the Greater Accra region, Elizabeth Sackey, a representative of the king of the Asante kingdom, Baffour Agyemang II and above all Ghana's President Nana Akuffo Addo have recognized his good works and have pledged their support.
Celebrities who have excelled in their career such as Ex- black stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, gospel Musician, Obaapa Christie, Gifty Osei, Great Ampong, CEO Empire entertainment, Bola ray have also lauded the efforts of Adonteng Boateng to supports humanity over the years.
Others such as great Traditional leaders, CEO of TOBINCO Group, Elder Amoh Tobin and several notable individuals have also described him as "kind hearted, benevolent Minister who will forever be remembered in the annals of history".
