‘Asamoah Gyan gave me $8K in 2015’ – Gospel musician Nacee confesses
Popular Ghanaian Gospel musician Nana Osei who is popularly known as Nacee has explained how Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan supported him with $8,000 for his concert in 2015.
According to the Aseda hitmaker, he says his finances hit a snag but the former Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan, as part of his philanthropic gestures came through with the unexpected amount which aided the success of the concert
“In 2015, I was organising a concert and was in desperate need of money as things became tough for me,” Nacee told Kofi TV in an interview.
“Asamoah Gyan gave me $8,000 at that time. In fact, I need an opportunity to meet him and say thank you,” he added.
Upon hearing this, the ex-Ghana star player showdown his excitement and pleasure for what was said about him by the musician.
He captioned the video of the interview with, “Not everybody will come back and say thank you.”
Gyan is Ghana’s all time top scorer with 51 goals from 109 games for the Black Stars team and is Africa’s top scorer at the World Cup with six goals to his name.
