Ghana National Gospel Music Awards Postponed to 2024.
Organizers of the Ghana National Gospel Music have announced the event will not come off this year “due to a number of factors including circumstances beyond their control.”
According to a statement obtained, the organizers acknowledged the disappointment the decision would cause to many but assured the industry of their commitment to “producing a memorable celebration of Gospel music excellence when it is absolutely right to do so.”
They also assured winners in the previous edition of the awards of a special industry event where the winning plaques would be presented to them.
“We would however wish to assure winners in the previous edition that a special industry ceremony would be held to present them with the plaques ahead of the next edition of the awards scheme.”
Again, the organizers expressed appreciation to their sponsors, partners, and all those who have supported them thus far.
Described as the Grammys of the Gospel music industry in Ghana, the Ghana National Gospel Music is an annual awards event that celebrates musicians for their contribution to spreading the Gospel of Christ.
The 2023 edition of the Ghana National Gospel Music would have marked the 6th edition of the awards scheme.
