The youth are overly focused on making quick money rather than working – Diana Asamoah.

Diana Asamoah, a seasoned gospel musician, has voiced concern about many young people who seem hesitant to work after graduating from college but still want to possess expensive cars like Range Rovers.

Diana discussed the problems facing the nation and the status of the economy in an interview on TV3, which was monitored by GX GH.

Debunking accusations that there are no jobs, she adopted a policy of refraining from attacking President Akufo-Addo or the government.

As for employment prospects, Diana Asamoah contended that more had been established by the government.

She gave an example, telling of a young lad who, after being given a woman’s business, betrayed her out of greed.

The musician made the case that a lot of young people would prefer to get rich soon than put in the time and effort to work.

“I won’t join others to criticize the government; some people say there are no jobs in the system, but that’s not true,’’ she argued.

“There are jobs, but today’s youth are not willing to learn a trade. Instead, they prefer quick money. Many don’t work, but they aim to drive a Range Rover right after finishing school,’’ she added.
