MoG clarified that he did indeed encounter the legend at the event and exchanged greetings with him. Despite intending to minister, MoG faced unforeseen health issues requiring immediate attention from his medical team. Consequently, he graciously allowed Mercy Chinwo to perform before him.
Once his health improved, MoG took the stage. During his performance, he intended to honor Edward Akwasi Boateng, even inviting Elder Mireku to join him. However, despite attempts to locate Boateng, he was nowhere to be found in the auditorium.
Expressing regret over the missed opportunity, MoG revealed his intention to recognize Boateng with a plaque, although he chose not to disclose the monetary value.
