Award-winning Gospel Musician ACP Kofi Sarpong recently shared a deeply personal revelation about a pivotal moment in his life. During an exclusive interview with Rev. Kwamina Idan on Adom FM monitored by GX GH, the renowned 'Aseda' singer recounted a time when his educational pursuits hung in the balance due to financial constraints.
Recalling the challenges he faced, ACP Kofi Sarpong candidly admitted, "I encountered many obstacles, but none as daunting as the threat of missing out on my education. Despite harboring dreams of becoming a teacher, the lack of financial support posed a significant barrier."
Refusing to succumb to despair, ACP Kofi Sarpong demonstrated resilience by resorting to unconventional means to finance his education. "I refused to give up," he asserted, "and turned to hawking as a means to gather funds."
He recounted his days selling Ga kenkey, Fante kenkey, and boiled corn at the bustling lorry park, highlighting the determination and resourcefulness required to overcome adversity.
