Many of my songs stem from my experiences of failure during my time at university.

During his Easter visit to the UK, Ghana's esteemed Worship leader, Uncle Ato, extended a courtesy call to His Excellency Bishop Adonteng Boateng, founder and leader of Divine World International Ministries.

In an illuminating interview with Bishop Adonteng Boateng, Uncle Ato candidly shared the challenges he faced during his musical journey, particularly during his time at university.

Juggling numerous responsibilities, including ministry roles, Uncle Ato confessed to struggling academically, failing four papers and receiving a stern warning from the school administration.

Determined to overcome this setback, he turned to prayer and diligent study. Through divine intervention and his unwavering resolve, Uncle Ato not only passed all his exams but also found inspiration for composing some of his most beloved songs, such as "MEN SURO," "DE DEW," and many others.

This testament to faith and perseverance underscores Uncle Ato's remarkable journey as a musician and spiritual leader.
