Pastor Love granted 2 Million Ghana Cedis Bail by the Accra High Court..
The Accra High Court has approved a bail request for Pastor Hammond Love, who is challenging a 48-month prison sentence handed down in a previous ruling.
As part of the bail terms, the court set the amount at GHC 2 million, accompanied by stringent conditions. These include the provision of three sureties, each of whom must own verifiable property within Accra. Furthermore, Justice Naa Koowa Quarshie, the presiding judge, mandated that Pastor Love surrender his passport, which must remain valid until at least November 15, 2025.
Pastor Love, a figure widely recognized within his community, was present in court when the ruling was delivered. As an additional measure, he has been instructed to report to the police every Tuesday to fulfill the weekly reporting requirement.
This decision marks a significant step in the legal proceedings as Pastor Love seeks to overturn his conviction.
